Private Spaces

The White Hart offers two beautiful spaces to suit different group sizes and preferences.

The Essex Barn provides a warm, characterful setting for larger gatherings, while the Garden Room offers a more intimate, light-filled space for smaller farewells.

Both rooms offer comfort, privacy and a peaceful atmosphere to honour your loved one in a way that feels right for you.

Wonderful celebratory lunch

What started as a small lunch booking gradually grew over a few weeks into a much larger group – and throughout the entire process, Luke and Grace were absolutely amazing. Every time we called to increase the numbers, they were incredibly professional, exceedingly friendly, calm, and genuinely helpful. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble.

Despite our final group size, the menu on the day was impressively varied, catering to all tastes, and every dish was absolutely delicious. Most impressively of all, as if by magic, the food arrived at all tables at the same time – no small feat with a large party!

We had a truly wonderful celebratory lunch, and the entire team went above and beyond to make it an unforgettable occasion. Exceptional service, fantastic food, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere in the most wonderful pub.
